We specialize in AI-enhanced software solutions that strengthen localization efforts in the international donor community and beyond. Our key products— Climate Canvas AI Tool and QuadraEdge.LMS—are designed to support a broad set of users, from small businesses to NGOs and major donor agencies, while also exploring market potential in the private sector.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Business Development & Product Innovation Lead to drive our growth strategy. In this role, you will identify and pursue new funding opportunities, form strategic partnerships, and help refine our AI-based tools to meet user needs. You will focus on expanding EmpowerDevTech’s presence within donor circles—especially in the EU—while engaging innovative private sector collaborations.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Donor Engagement: Lead or participate in high-level donor meetings; gather donor intelligence with a focus on EU funding.
Partnership & Fundraising: Proactively explore private sector partnerships and seek innovative fundraising avenues (e.g., social enterprise models, impact investing).
Innovation & Product Shaping: Collaborate with technical teams to create compelling concept notes for donor engagement; refine AI tools based on user feedback.
Strategic Planning & Collaboration: Conduct market research, identify trends, and develop multi-sectoral approaches to secure new partnerships.
Outreach & Communication: Represent EmpowerDevTech at conferences and industry events; draft proposals and concept notes to support partnerships.

Qualifications & Experience

Education & Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, International Development, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 5+ years in business development or donor relations in a relevant sector.
Technical & Sector Experience: Knowledge of donor-funded programs (especially EU) and familiarity with AI solutions or digital platforms.
Skills & Competencies: Strategic thinking, relationship building, strong communication, team collaboration, and results-driven approach.
